Chelsea’s three-day Sounds & Sights Festival kicks off Thursday night

Chelsea’s annual summer festival returns today with a lineup of music and events — and a new name.
Now called the Sounds & Sights Festival, the weekend event will be an expansion of Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights, Chelsea’s weekly foray into live entertainment.
The festival, formerly known as Summerfest, runs through Saturday and will feature a packed music bill, an expanded food court featuring six restaurants, and an open-air art market throughout downtown.
