Sounds and Sights organizers look back on successful festival

Organizers of Chelsea’s first Sounds and Sights music festival are reporting strong numbers for attendance this year.
“The Chelsea’s Sounds and Sights Festival planning committee were somewhat nervous about this year’s event due to the economy and name change of the former Chelsea Summer Fest. But after the social tent closed at 11 p.m. Saturday night, it was obvious by the massive crowd that filed out into the downtown streets that the event had been a major success,” event spokesman Todd Ortbring said.
