Chelsea’s Annual Holiday Light Parade
The Annual Holiday Light Parade takes place on Saturday evening during Hometown Holiday weekend, and has the town glowing with the spirit of the season. We invite you, your friends, acquaintances, neighbors, family, etc., to join in the parade this year.
If you are interested in participating in this year’s Light Parade, please contact us. All parade entries (floats, walkers, cars, etc.) are asked to comply with the rules and regulations.

Parade Staging Area – We ask all participants to be at the staging area (Chelsea State Bank – Main Branch) no later than 4:30pm on the day of the parade. The parade will start at 6:00 pm and travel down Main Street (M-52) until it reaches the paved parking lot at the Chelsea Teddy Bear Co. (just past the Clocktower Complex). There will be someone there to direct you as to where to park your floats, etc.
Entertainment – Please join us after the parade for refreshments, treats and entertainment at the Chelsea Teddy Bear Co.

Giving Back to Our Community
The Hometown Holiday Committee encourages everyone to donate a new, unwrapped toy to one of the local “Toys for Tots & Teens” locations in Chelsea. These gifts will be distributed by Faith In Action to Chelsea area families in need.
Drop of locations are:
- Palmer Auto Service, 222 S. Main Street
- Chelsea Kidz Stop, 114 N. Main Street. Chelsea Kidz Stop are also offering a 10% discount on toys purchased at their store for Toys for Tots & Teens.
Please note that we will not be collecting canned goods during the parade this year. You may make food donations at the Global Marketplace, 115 W.
