MATT WATROBA

Matt Watroba's excellent guitar playing, mellow voice, and sense of humor give his audience a most entertaining and enlightening evening. Watroba's love of folk music has led him to his position of "Folks Like Us" radio host, a position he held for over 19 years on WDET-FM.

THE HUMMINGBIRDS

Three time Detroit Music Award winners The Hummingbirds are certainly creating a buzz of their own.  You can expect a twangy mix of memorable melodies and sweet harmonies from this unique "electro-coustic" duo.  Talented multi-instrumentalist Stephen Grant Wood adds his telecaster twang into the mix, while songwriter, Rachel Lynn lays down the rock steady rhythm with the acoustic guitar. Their harmonies and intertwining of vocals are a signature sound of the group.

BILL BYNUM

Bill Bynum and Company is one of the area's tightest bluegrass bands. Bill's songwriting weaves a tale of a humble man with a gigantic talent for capturing life's lessons in a bluegrass way. Bynum is a regular performer at the Trinity House Theater in Livonia, a 2004 Metro Detroit Songwriting Contest winner, and was voted Open Mic Performer of the Year in 2006 at The Ark and by the Windsor Folk Music Society
